Coulbois Pouilly Fume 2009

Pouilly Fumé is in the beautiful Loire valley and is made from Sauvignon Blanc. It’s quite like it’s neighbour Sancerre, but slightly heavier and with a characteristic gun flint smokiness, along with fresh citrus and green fruit flavours.

This is a traditional, elegant Pouilly-Fume.
Starting with an aromatic flowery/fruity bouquet, while the palate is beautifully balanced with apple and citrus fruit. The finish is clean, and crisp withgreat length and limestone/ minerally tones.
