Le Coq Rouge 2011
"I am the little Red Rooster too lazy to crow for days!" comes from the famous Rollling Stones song and according to the winemaking this delicious wine is best served whilst singing along. Of course we’ve tried this and totally agree. We also think that the many areas in which the grapes are grown, Thézan, Corbières Maraussan, Béziers and Puichéric, Minervois might have something to do with it. Not to mention the fact that this is made by Sacha Lichine of Chateau D'Esclans (and the most expensive rose in the world) fame.
An attractive nose of cherry and spicy fragrances with chocolate and vanilla coming through on the palate along with the blackberries. A lovely long finish.
Grapes: Grenache
750ml
