Le Muraie Valpol Ripasso 2017
Valpolicella is produced in Italy’s Veneto district from the same grapes as Amarone - Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella. This is a Ripasso Valpolicella - meaning the pressed skins from making Amarone have been added back into the wine. The skins have residual sugar in them which re-starts the fermentation. This results in a wine of more depth and complexity than standard Valpolicella.
Rich and inviting with notes of chocolate, sweet black fruit, mocha and spice. The palate is very soft and supple.
