Chateau Lanessan is just outside the famous district of St Julien, in the Bordeaux region of France, so the estate must by classed as “mere” Haut Medoc appellation. This good news for wine lovers because if a wine like this were grown inside St Julien, it’d cost a lot more!
Spicy, supple and fresh on the palate. Long and substancially fruity. Nicely extracted. Classy with tannins of lovely quality.
Region: Haut-Medoc, France
Grape varieties: Cab. Sauv., Merlot & Petit Verdot
