Artuke Finca de los Locos 2018

As the name would suggest, the locals called Arturo and Kike's Grandfather 'crazy' when he decided to plant this sandy, gravel over limestone terrace above the Ebro river in Baños de Ebro. We're very glad he did as it demonstrates perfectly this wonderfully exuberant, foward thinking winery's dedication to vineyard work and site specific wine.

Ripe black, smoky fruit with real energy across the palate thanks to that limestone. Retains remarkable freshness and lift with density too. Delicious and one that will gain with bottle age despite drinking beautifully now.
