Alepa Campagna Bianco 2017
50% Greco di Tufo, 50% Falanghina
If you like a white wine that is pleasant but doesn’t taste of much then step away now. This is a proper, characterful Italian white. From Campagnia in the small region of Terre del Volturno, the vineyards are in the Caiatine Hills where the soil is not volcanic but clay. It’s a blend of Falanghina and Greco di Tufo, which are de-stemmed and co fermented with indigenous yeasts, no added sulphites.
