Torrontes is THE white grape of Argentina, and by far the most widely planted one too. The parentage of the grape is unclear, but it is thought to be related to the Muscat grape, which would explain the aromatic flavours.
This has the trade mark perfumed peach and apricot notes, but with a hint of minerality and more elegance than most Torrontes. It’s beautifully fragrant and floral but still light on its feet, not overpowering at all.
