Lalande St Julien 2017
Château Lalande is made up from 55% Cabernet, 40% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc and is perfectly situated between Châteaux Talbot and Lagrange (classified in 1855 as fourth and third growths respectively). This enviable position elevates what is in fact a simple petite château to something quite special.
A wine that possesses all the richness and power that you should expect from a classed Saint-Julien estate, but at half the price. Textbook pencil lead, tea chest nose with a well structured palate of intense cassis fruit and fine grained tannins.
Region: Bordeaux, France
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cab Franc
