Haut Bergeron 1986

Sauternes is a French dessert wine from the Sauternais region of the Graves section in Bordeaux. Sauternes is made from Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle grapes that have been affected by Botrytis cinerea, also known as noble rot. This causes the grapes to become partially raisined, resulting in concentrated and distinctively flavoured wines.

Lovely rich citrus and orange characters on the nose and palate. The acidity is still very forward and keeps the sweetness fresh. A long finish to compliment a well made wine.

Grapes: 80% Semillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Muscadelle
