Landreau Morin Cremant de Loire Blanc
A soft and friendly sparkler with lemon, apple and toasty flavours. Mouthwatering acidity meets creamy, rich texture. The Loire Valley is one of seven regions in France approved to produce Crémant, dry sparkling wines made in the ‘traditional method’ like in Champagne. These can be a great, and cheaper alternative to Champagne. Domaine Landreau makes one of the best in the region. Chenin blanc, grown on the region’s chalky tuffeau soil, is ideal for sparkling wine production, and here it is blended with the regions star red grape - cabernet franc. It is aged on its lees or two year before release.
